Hi fishes, I've joined TCS on 9th nov as a 2 YOE .Net developer. Since past week I'm getting project interview calls, I have given 3 till now, not selected in 1 and not sure in other 2. I've followed up with the interviewers about my interview , both said that they have given their feedback to their managers and if there is an requirement I will be called up. I am little worried seeing all the layoffs going on...can my employment be in danger upon failing in project interviews?? Tata Consultancy

You can make a timeline cost chart on excel and paste it in pretty format in the email. Easy to understand and looks crisp
1) regarding content: need to identify what exactly you want the client to see. If itās cost savings, you can do a stacked bar or clustered bar with a line showing your value prop vs competitor. If you want a more comprehensive look at your plan, you can get super fancy w a dashboard in Powerbi (free w office). Everyone loves them and they are easy to create.
2) regarding pasting: I recommend playing around w the pasting options as they offer a slightly different output which can help w the crisp outlook
...and has asked us to model out the costs and savings over time.
I have a spreadsheet with a plan and tons of numbers (e.g. remove two competition people in May, add two of our people in May, how this affects cost, etc.). Whatās the best way to present this kind of info / story via email? No power points please, she hates them.
How you are beating your competition is how you present your model. If youāre making a one time investment and writing off some costs, go with the total annual cost for this year. If youāre beating them on rate - then share that - and then extrapolate over the project term.
Only long form alternatives to PPT are written reports and... Posters? Long live academic tradition and all, but I'd think thrice if a consultant came to me with a poster lol
You're going to have to take a page from Amazon and write a report for this one.
