Hi All, Today I've resigned and my LOD is 2 Sept. Can anyone please let me know for these 90 days salary would be credited only after FnF. Or June'22 salary will be credited as usual, however, July and September salary would be credited during FnF. Please confirm or suggest.
Regards,

In addition to what SA1 said, the size of your firm might dictate the client size they would accept.
Yes I would think so. However I asked what client size they are looking for considering I meet a variety of people outside my circle. But I’m receiving crickets. Which is raising red flags for me.

Why give business to the firm and get zero upside in pay when you can just do your own side business and get 100% of your charge rate as your income?
EY1 my firm in the past didn’t have a Noncompete until this year. 😊
I knew of a few managers that did which is probably why there is a non compete now.
Opening a side business that provides the same service could violate your employment agreement and possibly end up in losing your license over ethical concerns.
That being said, make some time with someone of authority that likes your work. Be ready to present each of your potential clients, explain why they are a fit, and what services the firm can provide. A time estimate is good to have as well. If you know the firms pricing model apply that as well. Yea, it may seem like you’re doing of their job, but it could make them see you as something more than you currently are. As mentioned, there is some legit money in business development and you might not be seen in that role.

Have you considered a role in business development instead of core client service instead?

Yes, I thought it sounded like you when I read you’re post. I know a few people who have done that from tax and have been really happy. Good luck!
I brought a decent client to my firm my first year, fortunately I had a decent relationship with a partner that helped me bring them in. I really think that relationship was the key, they have been with us ever since. It maybe really helpful to find either a manager or a partner that you are friendly with and discuss bringing them in. What kind of clients do you normally work on? That may give you an idea on what type of clients your firm wants
Am I right to assume this is a warning sign and I should just have a side business of my own with my own clients until i have a firm that cares to bring them on?
