I'm at the very preliminary stages of an account exec role at Amazon. They've asked for total compensation expectations; do I name my range (if so, what should it be) or do I say I'm open to negotiating and ask for their range?
FYI - Canada, no sales experience but they were specifically looking for someone with my background. 6 years total working experience.

Did they tell you the level of the job? Check levels.fyi

Not stated, but the listed requirements are 3+ YOE in sales if that says anything?

Don’t be afraid to ask them for the total comp . Let them know you want to make sure it’s in line with your range but there are many factors to consider and you need to put more thought into it

Hi, Everyone.

I have two YOE in one of the Big 4s. Current salary is 16 lpa(fixed + bonus). Have an offer from EY India.

They are offering Consultant role in their Advisory Division. Should I insist on Senior Con. ? They are citing lack of experience as a reason.

Also what is the Salary I can ask? I understand there might be band limitations. Just wanted to understand if someone can shed some light on the max. I should expect & can someone help me understand about the bonuses there? TIA

I am looking forward to HR round for Macquarie Gurugram. All rounds went well except for numerical reasoning section in psychometric test. My yoe is exactly 8 years. My current CTC is 16.2 and expecting raise in current company in 2-3 months.

Q1- What is the maximum I can demand in Macquarie in HR round? Initially, before interviews started, I mentioned 27LPA (negotiable). I have a past offer (not current) of 25.5 LPA.

Q2 do they decline offering in case we get adamant abt high salary 27Lpa?

Hello everyone! I am a Judicial Law Clerk, which I have been for a little over two years now. However, I’m planning on moving into the AML/Compliance realm. I have a background in finance, having been a Finance Disbursing Officer in the Army for 6 years with one deployment in that role. Additionally, I am currently a JAG attorney and studying for my CAMS, hoping to take that exam in the next month or two. Any advice or referrals for anyone I can talk to learn more about the field? Thanks! :)

I’m in Virginia, but with remote work now available, not sure what I should be looking at as an acceptable raise before looking elsewhere. Am I wrong in my thoughts or should I be asking for more?

I asked for a raise since I’ve been at my company for 1 year and because cost of living is up 6%. My boss recommended I hold off asking for a raise now and in 6 months he’ll see if I can get a promotion with a bigger raise bump.

He said even if I ask for a COL adjustment now it may make it harder to get the CEO to agree to a promotion in 6 months.
