Most pharma leaders work in either sales or marketing. There are some pure “strategy” and “BD/M&A” roles but their roles don’t necessarily have the upward mobility you might think they have. What other life science roles are you hoping to get into, I might be able to tell you if ZS can help you get there.

@OP - speaking from experience as a current SIP associate with similar ambitions, you have somewhat of a say in projects. You’ll likely get randomly staffed at first. I wanted to get into the P&LS area since I joined and after almost a year I have finally been staffed on my first project in that area. Also office location may factor in, but not much

How often do you think about leaving consulting? I've been at Accenture, KPMG, and now TCS totaling 11 years. I'm always approached on LinkedIn by Slalom, Zs, and other firms but I never can decide if I want to stay in the consulting game. Anyone else feel this way and what helped you decide?

Fish, I need advice. I think I work too fast. Always high quality and get lots of kudos but find myself bored so much of the time. I ask for more work but finish quickly and feel bad asking for more..
