Based on suggestions from my recent post I used Circle and was diagnosed and prescribed 5 mg of Aderall XR. Does anyone who has used a primary care or psychiatrist to get diagnosed have insight into what they did prior to diagnosis? Trying to compare the level of assessment and whether I should get any further testing done. I’m pretty confident I have issues after reading symptoms from credible sources online and reading experiences in this bowl, but curious if I should have been tested more.

In under 10 years of working I’ve managed to make a 70K jump in salary. My last role was a 40K jump into the six figure range and it was a really tough transition (mostly because of poor senior leadership). I’m looking at a new role that would would be a title bump + 20K more than my last. I’m scared that I’m going to make more but underperform. It’s a fine line between imposter syndrome when looking at the salary amount and worried that I’m actually not prepared enough for the role. Heeeelp.

I used to work as an agency recruiter and now work as an hr coordinator. I’ve been feeling pretty lousy about how much I make (47k) compared to my friends and with inflation, so I reached out to a company who was a client of mine while recruiting. They offered me almost 80k as an internal recruiter and I’ve accepted the offer. I’m now getting cold feet because I feel like I sort of fell into recruiting and hr and don’t think it’s really my dream or passion.

I am just between a career pivot and I need some advice. I graduated in Biochemistry near the top of my class with an expectation to go into medicine so I had been working in clinical research. But I decided otherwise and want to go into business now, as an analyst. I have some logistics experience and getting the AWS Cloud Practitioner certification but I need to start a new role ASAP.
