I'm c/o 2021 and finishing up clerkship in a few months. What is a reasonable comp to ask for when applying for firm jobs? I'm sure it's firm-dependent and job-specific, but I'm looking for a realistic range. Thank in advance for insight and advice.

Depends on the market and type of firm. Most big law firms are lockstep and it’s easy to find pay brackets on above the law.

Small markets, single office and boutique firms will require research on Glassdoor or other salary data resources. If your looking at a specific firm one trick is to see if they took out a payroll protection loan which might disclose salary data.

My day to day job is the operational running of my department and managing and supporter the technicians. Along with logistics and managing the admin team, I am called upon to complete site visits, and at times support the field and complete some of the work myself.

I work FT, I get my pension matched and a company car supplied along with overtime for any hours over my weekly 40hrs.
I don’t receive any bonuses.

Hey all! My 1st post here. I've been interviewing and applying at many different companies. I few I was passed up on and a few the interview process is still going. One of the companies that I'm debating on applying for is called Inmar Intelligence. Is there anyone who has worked or is still working for them here? We're or are they happy with the company? How is the work-life balance? Any room for growth? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Everyone,

I'm currently a civil design engineer, and trying to switch to real estate as a Program Manager. I have an interview in a week where they tell me I will have to work on ( for about 3-4 hours ) on an operational case study.

The job is located in Paris and the job is in French .

Does anyone here have any case studies in Real estate that they can share ? and if they're from France, that would be even better.

Thank you in advance !

I’ve been approached my by company (software) that one of our large clients (who im currently project managing for) is looking for a consultant of sorts, and if they hire us, I’d be the first person asked to take on this consultant role. This isn’t something my company typically offers and would greatly change the scope of my role. Has anyone ever taken on a role like this? If so, were you able to negotiate a percentage of the consulting fee? Or was it a bump in salary during the project?

1YOE medical device NPI Lead looking for salary perspective

Mechanical engineering grad, joined a medical device startup that I had done co-ops at. 8mo into full-time, pivoted from engineering into more of an operations role doing new product introduction (NPI), now with 3 direct reports.

The combination of startup+medical device+NPI seems very unique and I'm struggling to find salary comparables. Currently making 75k but it feels very low given my new responsibility and impact. Any advice?

Here is my issue. I left my firm this summer for an opportunity I should have known was to good to be true. I realized it wasn’t what I was led to believe. Was able to return to my old firm. The return was “a favor”. But includes conditions. I am not happy, and need a change and honestly more money now rather than in 6-8 months. I knew it would be ruff when I went back but I didn’t expect it to be this ruff. Is my recent history gonna be a huge hurdle to even get an interview?
