PwC HSAs come with the medical insurance plans and are administered by HealthEquity. So long as you enrolled for one of the three health plan options you’ll get one.
Careful with RobinHood. This year all PwC staff, regardless of level, have to use the Brokerage Simplification Program (BSP) for independence regulatory compliance. This takes a feed of what you own (but not how much) from your broker(s) and compares it to what you can’t own based on your level and role in the firm. RobinHood did not offer such a feed last I checked. Many other brokerages now offer fee-free trades but do participate in BSP; personally I’ve used Schwab for many years and am happy with them.
The HSA has to be paired to a high deductible health insurance plan per IRS rules, which is why it’s coupled in that way.
As to 401k, I don’t change allocations much. You can either choose from a set of funds in the PwC plan (choices are limited due to audit independence requirements) or you can choose a target retirement date plan that will be more aggressive early on and less so closer to planned retirement date. You can move things around as much as you like but generally repeatedly tinkering isn’t advisable. At the moment I have my 401k with a moderately aggressive portfolio and my wealth builder (like a 401k but the firm, not you, contributes to it) set to the 2040 retirement fund based on my age.

Thank you! This looks really useful
Cont. loss for where to begin. Also, any PwC people know how to open an HSA through the firm? I didn’t see it as an option in benefits Express.
