I’m completing a masters program in data science and looking to transition from data analytics to data science. Is it too soon to apply for data science jobs before completing the degree?

It would be completed this summer, and I have project examples on my GitHub page.

I’m underpaid in my current role and want to move on sooner rather than later, as I was not able to negotiate a pay raise in my recent performance review (manager had great things to say but “couldn’t afford to pay me more”).
