If the offer is the one you want and you aren’t interested in the job interview, cancel it and don’t waste your time and their time. But if you aren’t sure about the offer and the company, then just go for the interview. You’ve got nothing to lose but instead, you’ll gain more interview experience too.
Depends on how much you are interested in the offer. If you’re just being polite by going to the interview, then I’d say just cancel it. They won’t judge you for cancelling.
I would say to take a phone call but not use PTO on an in person.
I wasn't interested in my current role until I spoke with someone who is doing the same job on my round 4.
I think of job interviews as an opportunity to benchmark your skills, the job market, and corporate cultures. It is also time to practice and riff on new angles and discussion points and see how they hit. In other words use the interview to practice and hone your delivery and story. See what lands we'll. See what you can refine for delivery. Practice memorizing people's names... say them right, say them wrong - just collect data on who you are and how you present yourself.
Nope. Just cancel it. They’ll respect you for not wasting their time — and you won’t waste yours either!
