I’m considering getting a Cuddle & Kind doll (large one!) for my 6m old daughter. She can’t tell a doll from a mixer.
Have I completely lost it? Or is it just that their instagram ppl are srsly good?

My daughter has two and is just starting to love them at 20mo. But she really loves them. So if you want to get it then do it. They’re cute, you’ll like seeing pictures of her with it when she’s young, especially if she really loves them when she’s older.

She has the small mermaid (who is brown like her 🥰) and the big bunny with glasses. The big bunny is perfect for cuddling while sleeping.

Why do my students love saying the following: “If *insert author’s name here* wrote *insert literary work here* without *insert character name here*, the book would change in its entirety.”

Duh! Who taught them to say this atrocious statement? Is it embedded in their DNA? They all come to me saying it!

RAHHHHHHH! 😂

Very curious- do people see it as racist for a white male to not be attracted to black males? They have no issues with black gay males, become friends with them, treat them equally- but sexually aren’t attracted to them. Thoughts?

I need an advice: am in last trimester of pregnancy, waking up a lot during night to go to the bathroom but also since I am now quite uncomfortable sleeping due to my huge bump. My husband just told me he wants to start sleeping in another room so I don't accidentally wake him up during nights. I don't see him much during the day, we weren't physically close in a while (since the bump became visible) and I feel so left alone. Am I being selfish. Any thoughts?

I had my first a few months ago, and while I was sure I’d be one and done, the maternal feeling is now on overdrive 🙃 I’m wondering what would be a good time to try for a second.
I am 38, and the first baby came after two miscarriages so my chances are not great (especially chances of a planned age gap) But it doesn’t hurt to hope 😊

Should I give my nanny a bigger bonus? She’s been with us six years. We’ve been paying her to stay home due to COVID (her husband works outside the home) since March. I’m on a partly paid LOA now because of that. We have been paying her based on her guaranteed minimum hours, but that works out to be about 20% less than her pre-pandemic pay. Normal bi weekly pay was about $2200, now $1800. I gave her a bonus for holidays of $2500, but wondering if I should do more to make her more “whole?” Cont.

Mommies, I have witnessed several households where men don't help with even the smallest chores. The kids grow up seeing this and probably believing that household work is only for women, no matter how tired they are after slogging at their day jobs everyday. What is the right way to tell parents about this upbringing and asking men to help out with household chores, at least for the sake of their kids' future?
