I'm considering hiring someone who may be required to have a series 65. How long should it take someone who is (a) smart & (b) no industry knowledge to study and pass?

I believe they have revamped the 65 and it is much more like the S7 with the 66 added in.

like

Jones had us study for 8 hours per day for like 3-4 weeks to pass the 66. With the right online course I would imagine that 3-4 weeks Monday-Friday 8 hours per day should be enough. We used "STC" for our online course materials and they were very good.

like

If he/she is brand-new out of the gate, crappy at test taking, sure 3-4 weeks 8 hours/day.If he/she has experience and tests well, one week taking practice tests 4-6 hours/day (tops) will be plenty.Just take the tests until he/she is getting 85% or better and he/she will be good to go.

is it worth it to shift to IB or MBB after 7 years in the big four(audit and fdd)? I do think IB and MBB are interesting fields that you can acquire unique skill sets and a good network. But I don’t think I couldn’t keep up already for a daily grind. The reason why I did not pursue it earlier in my career is that I am not from a target school and I do not have an MBA. lol thoughts?

How would you go about finding a remote AE role with a 100k base?

I have about 7-8 years of sales experience and have consistently out performed my OTE. I absolutely love my current role but I feel like I have out grown the company as there isn't a ton of opportunity to make more than I am currently making.

I opened up my LinkedIn to recruiters but all the offers are 60-70k base and 120-140k OTE. I am shooting for MINIMUM 80k base but ideally 100k or more.

What would you do?

I’m considering a position doing RPA development and Low Code integration for for a consultancy. I’ve been primarily doing process work in my current role but I’m familiar with the technical aspects of this space. Is it too late to build skills in the RPA & Low Code areas? Is this still a space that is worth building competency in? Ultimately my goal is to get some experience doing solutioning type work, while I build more technical (programming) skills. I’d like to do product work in the end

Yet again no luck whatsoever, just finding jobs as budtenders or running a dispensary. Does anyone know where I can find research-based cannabis jobs? I have a degree in horticulture with lab experience.
