Hi fishes, I joined infosys as manual tester in trade finance domain at 3 Lpa now after almost 2 years of experience I have offer from tcs for 4 Lpa and quality kiosk for 7.5 lpa. Tcs offered me a developer role while quality kiosk offered me the same role in Testing with trade finance domain. Tcs refused to renegotiate the salary even a little. Writing annual goals. What are examples of how to write “quantifiable” goals as a consultant? Are you measuring number of relationships built, projects, or something else?

Most of consulting is advising on solutions to problems, but I don’t control the outcome, whether the advice is implemented, or the budget. Sales is easy (e.g. “sell $2M of products/services this year”) because there is a clearly defined measurement. What can consultants measure?

Why has real estate remained lucrative?
Mainly agents but also developers.

The barrier to entry is low, not even sure if graduating high school is needed. My old agent even said she did it bc she can make a lot money and not work that much. She drove a new Mercedes and sent her kids to private school, husband was also an agent.

So I’m curious why it didn’t get flooded and the profit margin dampened to a $/hr closer to other jobs with similarly easy entry?

I am a decent candidate, my last 5 interviews were EY, McK, EY, McK and GS (last round, 1st round, last round, 2nd round, 1st round). I am not too involved in the project but I was in a few meetings and went on a field trip with them as well.
