I have been going on interviews and noticed 2 department heads already assume I was laid off or fired due to a 4 months gap. I explained I left my last role due to short term health issues that have been resolved. Not even sure how to respond when they assume. Any advise? Thanks!

Stop taking American jobs.” I am an immigrant yes, but I have a graduate degree from one of the target schools and have worked my a*$ off to be where I am. Hi everyone. Wanted to get your thoughts on this situation. I was in an extremely toxic relationship with a narcissist for over 10 years. The trauma and abuse resulted in responsive abuse meaning I would turn into a person I was not proud of. I could “justify” some of my actions because I was in survival mode at the time. All of this trauma resulted in extreme depression and anxiety especially in regards to romantic relationships (I now know I have an anxious attachment style). Continued below..
