Employer branding or talent branding is the intersection of marketing and recruiting. What elements make your organization compelling and align to your employer value proposition for prospective and current employees. Measured by impact on recruiting, retention, and productivity. For example EY is known as a great place to begin an audit or tax career. Less known as a consulting firm, compared say to Deloitte.
What goes into the culture? Leadership? Who are the people who are drawn there? Elements of employer brand can be found on LinkedIn, in your marketing materials, what people say, and what people think about the firm.
