Hey, sorry to hear you didn’t get it. First off, Big 4 should never be your dream job or you’ll be in for a massive disappointment when no one says hi to you on your first day. Big 4 need talent at every position. For EY tax technology (I am not in), you either need an accounting or computer systems degree. Because you probably have those, the interview or their hiring partner just didn’t like you. That’s probably all there is to it. The question asked is do I want this person working for me? The answer was no for you as it was a no for me at PwC. Keep your head up and try elsewhere.

Got onboarded to PM a project pretty close to go-live. This is my first PM role and I am feeling a bit overwhelmed and not sure where to start. How do I understand which status each stream is currently at? What’s the scope of deliverables and what to focus on? Client are driving busy work and a lot of streams are verbally reporting as red, but no idea of the overall status. Would really appreciate advice/help/tips and frameworks to get clarity. Thank you!

Trying to figure out whom to leave assets to. I have a young child from a previous marriage. I remarried and current hubby and I are expecting his first baby. I don’t trust my older child’s father to use money for her responsibly. I would be leaving retirement and brokerage accounts and life insurance. I trust my mom 100%, so I am thinking of leaving the money to my mom for my daughter’s benefit. Should I talk to a professional? What are some considerations? Thanks!
