I'm currently a data analyst and it's more business insights leaning. I can use all the data tools but I'm not really knowledgeable on SQL or Python. I want to start developing these skills to broaden my job search. Where can I start without paying for classes?

YouTube is a great resource that has helped me. I watched all of the videos on Alex the Analyst’s channel and I think he does a great job of introducing these concepts. Also freecodecamp has courses that are easy to follow

Awesome I'm gonna check him out!

I went on Udemy.com and bought some discount classes for around $15-$25 and they were immense in helping me learn. They have knowledge checks to help you interact with the information before moving on. It was worth the price of one lunch for me.

Yea def agree with that!

W3schools is a good resource too. Take some of the data you have, build a SQLite database (it's local and on your computer) and start from there

Reach out to your manager and ask for access to WPP AI academy. It’s essentially free access to all the certificate courses on Coursera and it’s free for CMI employees

My unit recently changed their LIK policy. We were originally able to use LIK for 2 nights (Friday night, Saturday night) if you live under 50 miles. Now we have to live 150+ miles out in order to get 2 nights. The memo was signed by a one star. Is there any way to fight this or is this one of those “welcome to the Army” things because the changes were made by a general?

I’m curious how agencies structure data/analytics teams. Does your agency have a dedicated team for data & analytics? Does that team fall under digital, dev, or another umbrella? I’m in a new place and working closely with the analysis team, enjoying the collaboration quite a bit but wondering if it’s common.
