Is 110 k $ good salary in south carolina?
Hi,
I have received offer from cognizant, i had some issues with respect to the salary break-up so I mailed the same wo the point of contact and haven't accepted offer letter. It's been more than 12 days, my POC is not replying. Even the recruiting agent/firm is trying to reach out to him but still no luck. Not sure if we can escalate to anyone for such behaviour. Cognizant , please suggest what actions can be taken from my side.

Cushman & Wakefield Interested in a Sales Associate position at Cushman & Wakefield. I have experience as a government analyst for 7 years but nothing related to commercial real estate. I want to become a more competitive applicant but not sure where to start. Are there any certificates, skills, or knowledge that I should be learning in my free time?
Not a step 10, but I’m near you. How many years of service? I’m walking away with my 20 year FERS as a deferred retirement. Actively interviewing in private sector and finding salaries double than where I am now. I’m only 40, so I’m making the smart move.

Come to Consulting. You can always switch back to gov, but you likely won't want to.

I can't speak to the money questions, but I would be happy to refer you to bigbear.ai. Some of the points @US Army 3 raised around benefits were also concerns for me. They pay is good, the benefits are literally the best I've had.

Same situation. 15 but under-challenged and underpaid. Public sector consulting still leaves you in the same environment, but the private sector isn’t exactly knocking.
very well aware. We are limited based on what Congress enacts for system enhancement, And even if we did modernize everything, half of the USDA workforce would be completely lost using new systems.
I completely agree with you, but let’s face it, agriculture is not the tip of the spear
This is a very real trend across Engineering field leadership roles. The private sector is starved for talent that can maximize their profits. Unfortunately many high level government employees feel trapped to their jobs due to level of risk involved.
