Maybe you could frame them as "data skills" rather than experience.

So it’s okay to add them as skills even if it’s been awhile since I’ve used the tools? I’m sure I would pick it back up quickly if I needed to use it in my everyday work.

How about a management role?

I have applied for some technical project management and product manager positions as well. I have done some Management type tasks in my SE role but besides for my MS in technical Management I don’t have any experience as an actual manager.

If there's room on your resume and it suits with the role you're looking at, go for it!

I would say it's fine...but generally, you're asked to do some kind of task/test etc to show that skillset. If you feel confident enough to talk about it and demonstrate that, you're fine. Otherwise, you might want to look at doing a few side projects/own projects first to feel more confident and then make that move

Lately I’ve been trying to quit consulting and take up a less intense job for the period while my kids are very young so I don’t miss out on their early years. For now I’ve been applying to back office roles at banks to the extent where I can figure out that they are relaxed and not too intense. But I have a hard time converting any of my applications to such roles. I think my resume doesn’t make it past hr. And I have a hard time locating the hiring manager. Any tips?
