What are the other B4 close out timelines? KPMG just changed ours so all review notes have to be cleared prior to the report day and the file has to be closed out within 2 days
How's a US CMA vs CIMA? Big 4 M in a finance transformation role who's become somewhat of a generalist who knows GBS and operating model design. Looking at this decision to study as an accelerator to exit consulting and having a safety net to do so. Preferred roles are in finance business partnering, program management or key account Mgmt (won't need a finance degree for the last two, I assume, but will help to drive conversations nevertheless).
Is it a good idea to leave B4 cyber consulting and join google as Program Manager? Have an offer from google but feels like Program Manger is kind of grunt work and future career progression will be limited vs exit opportunities from B4
Is a Big 4 role really that respected on a resume? I know everyone says it but I’m curious if that’s a recruiting technique or if B4 is actually impressive
When do EY promotion notifications happen? I heard April/May off cycles were delayed a bit but just curious what the schedule is now? Is it earlier for managers for independence like at the other Big 4?
Anyone moved to Canada from the UK? Would like to know how culture and pay compare (esp within the big 4) and whether it was overall worth it from your personal experience?

Good Morning! Is there a certain resume style that I should have when applying to consultant roles within the big 4 firms? I have been a healthcare consultant for 8 years, in a small home health care setting. Corporate is new to me. I have had only one intro call since I began applying for roles last month. What do they look for? Any suggestions will help regarding target wording/format. I can even post on here if necessary. Thanks!
If you were going to be a partner in a national non-big 4 firm, which one would you pick and why?
I have 2 years of experience as an Oracle Cloud Financial Consultant at a small/medium firm. I'm looking to move out of implementation consulting, or maybe move into a different side of implementation consulting. I'm interested in Product Management but not sure if that is likely. I also have Big 4 recruiters reaching out about implementation consulting there - don't really want to continue doing it but might have to in order to get in somewhere else.
I’m thinking about going from industry , 5 + years experience, to big 4 for higher comp then back to industry at a higher executive level role. Do you think the transition back into the industry (hospital/ acute care setting) from the big 4 would be easy? Does consulting with the big 4 look good enough on a resume to get an executive level role or does staying in the industry make more sense if that’s my long term goal
Leaving B4 audit for a consulting position at a smaller (but well known) firm that I’m really excited about. Sad to be leaving some really great people I’ve worked with. Tips on how to cope?
I’ve decided to make my career in the government side of consulting. Been doing it 10 years. Seems hard to find jobs where I manage people unless at a big 4. Anyone else find this true?
I am a functional lead on the customer side with 7 years Workday experience. Is it possible to get a job in Big 4 that doesn't require travel?
How would you feel when your manager hires someone who is in the same age as you, with a cpa and had worked in big 4 before. Meanwhile you don’t have any PA experience and only half way through cpa.
Super curious what everybody thinks about Gartner? Thoughts on the firm, etc? Prestige, product, people, culture, exit opps? I’m on my way out. Trying to lateral to big 4/elite boutique (ATK/LEK/OW)

Hello all, need some advice. Am currently working for a government consulting agency, but wishing to leave due to the way the project is being managed...I am in at least 4-5 hours of meetings a day, so barely have time to prepare for demos, preparation of slides for the client, nevermind being able to write decent stories(tickets)... Usually have to rush writing requirements, steps, etc, ...
So I have been looking around.

I’ve been applying to product design roles and have been receiving rejections or ghosts 👻. I’m guessing it’s partly due to my portfolio (doesn’t contain my most recent work), but also wondering if it has anything to do with my resume so I’ve updated it. Could you guys provide feedback? Would really appreciate it!!

I’m a tax associate (specialty tax) at RSM. I’m absolutely burnt out and I have no energy to study at the end of the night. I have so much on my place and I find myself just staring at the screen. It was the same at GT. I’m thinking of a career change to tech, does anyone have any advice?
