Hi Fishes,
I am a 2020 B.Tech CSE graduate. I got campus placed in IBM, and was trained in Java FSD, but was allocated a role with no link to development. I really like development, and have good exposure in Java programming and web development.
My probation will be over in January, I want to move to a development related role as soon as possible. I am AWS Certified (Foundation Level).
Any leads are appreciated.

It obviously highly depends where you are based or willing to relocate.
And next to that, it depende on what you are looking for. Large corporations offer a level of structure, benefits but also tend to be inflexible and slow. Also it is likely you have a clear set of tasks that are expected from you.
Me personally, I experienced the steepest learning curve in mid-sized established companies (not start-up) which are in a situation of forced change, either through market, external shocks, etc. It allows you to work freely and with experienced people against set goals but at the same time rely on certain infrastructure as IT department, some budget, maybe even a researcher, Sales and Marketing etc. However, this can also be quite challenging as you have to get pretty creative and probably only have a small team for support.
