I’m currently in a space where I need a drastic change from what I’m currently doing. I’m overwhelmed, burnt out and my strengths in my role are under utilized. I would love to move into a remote only position and have a bit of time for self-care, where I’m not constantly thinking about work. I have a 2 year old and work for the City. Any suggestions or ideas would be helpful.

My husband just got promoted and wants me to leave my position to take on a full-time role at home with our children. It's something I've wanted for a long time, but now that I'm presented with the opportunity, I'm finding I actually don't really want to leave my job. I'm struggling with this now.

Curious what Salaries are for Account Managers with 6 YOE and two different territories for the last four of those 6 years. No commission/bonuses ever given and no promotions since I took the position 6 years ago despite speaking up several times. COL raises at 1.5% and I now make 70k but at the top of my pay range. I’m starting to look for other jobs now because I’m fed up with having two territories without a raise for the extra work. I feel I should have been promoted to Senior AM long ago.

Ive gained so much weight since quarantine started and feeling a bit hopeless. I’ve battled my weight for as long as I can remember but this is the most unhealthy I’ve ever felt. I also started noticing my neck change color (getting darker toward the bottom) and was reading up on google and now I think I have diabetes 😔. In my HSA I am holding 4% in ARKG and 4% in PBW (clean energy index). Both are down 50%... looking to consolidate my funds, so I am considering selling them both and allocating the 8% into something like XT? I understand I made those purchases in times of extreme optimism, so that is an F on my part.

My other funds in there are 64% VTI, 16% VXUS, 5% VWO and 7% EMQQ.

How to deal with mom guilt?
Back at work today after the holidays & just miss my baby so much even though I'm WFH. The sound of his laughter downstairs while I'm on calls is killing me.

Should I just quit? We can afford it if we pinch or don't worry about the future so much. Babies have been born in less. Hubby makes enough for rent & expenses. My salary is our extra savings, but we do have some savings (2 yrs runway).

BURNED OUT MOM! And sad to say it. 😔 I have a 2.5 years old boy and a 6 months old baby girl. The boy is becoming so so stubborn. I feel like his daddy and I are doing something wrong. He used to be way more behaving and generally a sweet boy said the daycare and neighbors. I know he is a good fella. Could this be just a phase?! It's worth mentioning both his dad and I are going through stressful times at work.

I just got back from maternity leave and my global project is already expecting me to work 7-7 some days even though I was very clear on my availability and time I need for my family. How do you all handle things like this? The amount of work and the sheer number of emails I get in a day is already insane and adjusting back to work is hard enough as it is.
