I think BA roles are a very popular entry point for grads/career shifters etc so the competition is fierce.
Agile certs are worthwhile. Not saying go get scrum master certified but exploring SAFe certs shows you’re committed to getting into that realm.
Things like process improvement, LEAN, six sigma are all great tools/methodology that will be good to talk on WHEN you start to get recruiter screens etc.
Also think about what you’ve done in accounting and what’s transferable and valuable. That’s what gonna set you apart and differentiate you.
So helpful, thank you for sharing
You might be better suited for a financial analyst type role, given your background. Any interest in that? Could be a smoother/easier transition (and pay might be better as well).
Ya I’ve applied to a few I kinda have an interest in open to any analyst role right now 😅
It's not just you. As TAM1 said, it's very competitive right now and layoffs/hiring freezes are also common at the moment. Brush up on skills and add to your resume in the meantime. Check out Coursera for relevant courses.
Everywhere is doing layoffs these days. It seems like more and more of my friends are experiencing that right now.
