I’m currently in the Expert path for data science at McK. Thoughts on the switch to “Data Science, Analytics” role at Facebook? Curious about the difference in earning potential and work life balance! (And yes I know the data scientist position at Facebook isn’t real data science - whereas what I’m doing at McK is)

Hello! Generally speaking at B4, other than age-related restrictions (being ~50+), what are the factors that typically drive Partner / MD candidates to choose the MD path over the Partner path?

AmLaw200 I interviewed with will likely go with a “more experienced candidate”. I’ve got 8 years and its a staff attorney role so whatever. Partner I met with was rushed from the start like he had already made up his mind. Pissed because they knew from the recruiter that I was a “diverse” candidate and they sent me the Mansfield self-identification survey days before they actually requested an interview.

I was recently laid off and I am actively search for a new role. I am mainly targeting ScrumMaster, Product Analyst, and Business Analyst jobs, but I am open to others.
