Hi Amazonians,
I am looking for guidance.
I am going to start interview process with Amazon next week. Probably all rounds will be done in 1-2 day time frame.
How/what should I prepare for interview?
Am clueless on what kind of ds & algo questions, system design questions are asked in Amazon interviews.
My techstack: javascript developer- react+Angular.
1. Pls guide me on what/how to prepare?
2. Also, will the interview be solely on da & algo and javascript; or on Js frameworks?

I applied for some senior positions at AbbVie online 2 weeks ago. The status appears as “resume received” for some positions, status of one position appears as “under review” while another position shows “in progress”. Any idea how long their hiring team takes to get back following the application?

Ask about their culture. What are their values, their mission, their strategy. How does their culture align with their expectations of the role?
Ask them about their aspirations and goals for the next 3-5 years and where does your role fit in driving their strategy.
And do your due diligence. Look at their site, review any media information, take a dive at their leadership team…
Remember that you are interviewing them as much as they are interviewing you.
Good luck!
Ask about your desk work load. For instance how many people or teams will you be supporting. Are they the same level support or different expectations around tasks. One EA job I had I mainly did calendar, travel, expenses whereas one position was planning events and pulling data reports.
EAs wear so many hats it's important to know the specific expectations.
Will you report to the people you support or have a line manager?
What are some of the tasks you currently like or dislike? Find out if they want the same things done.
What does a successful EA look like in this role to you?
You could ask to speak with other EAs that work there to pick this brain. They can give you a day-to-day.
*What would be the most challenging thing ava it this role?
*What are the metrics used to measure success in this role?
*What is the company doing to ensure diversity and equity?
*What are the metrics used to measure success in this role?
You can even ask the recruiter/interviewer What do they enjoy most about the company?
Thank you all! 🫶🏻
