Im currently is incoming junior who would like to get into investment banking or consulting. I changed my major from Pre med to Economics half way through college after realizing pre med wasn’t exactly for me, and that Econ/business is something that I’m actually interested in, but fear I may have been late with experience/internship/business knowledge. I have been doing my own research on basic things but is that even enough? Any advice would be appreciated!

What do you all use as a writing sample when one is requested during an interview process? I graduated from law school 5+ years ago and have always done transactional work. Most of the items I have written would be confidential, and I wouldn't feel comfortable sharing them as a writing sample. Do I send something from law school? I was a good student, so I have suitable written materials from back then.
