My husband & I pool our full incomes into joint checking/savings accounts for everything. We each take a modest monthly personal “allowance” into separate personal accounts, to spend on whatever frivolous things we want. I’m new to consulting & to bonuses… curious for advice on how to approach bonuses? (He doesn’t get bonuses in his work.) I definitely want to contribute towards our joint savings (love seeing that number go up!), but I’d also love to take a chunk of my bonus to spend on myself.

Please stop asking random people(us) about expected hikes based on rating. We all can give you some numbers based in experience, information l, hearsay etc etc. The actual number that matters to you and that holds true will be available to you on 26th May.
