You can join Infosys without any second thought , reasoning mentioned below-
1) Both companies are almost similar in nature in terms of job security, work life balance, projects, career growth, company values and yearly appraisal.
2) 5.7 lakh hike means approx 30k to 32k take home difference ( after deducting income tax and assuming 70% variable pay payout in Infosys ) which will help you financially considering your financial situation.

like

Thank you

Job security is 100 % there in Infosys. The point here to note is they will try to normalise your salary in upcoming appraisals. For the next three years this is going to be your Salary and you will get 70% of your variable pay for sure. If you are fine with that then go ahead.

Note: The inhouse person who promotes to Technology Lead will be paid less than 10 L which includes 15 % Variable.

Love ur job not ur company🙄😌

like

I agree but growth, work life balance, management, job security completely depends on company

Someone from Infosys or TCS please respond.

Join Infosys. Worked in Infosys and now working in TCS. Job security is very good in Infosys also. You will find hardly any difference between TCS and Infosys. WLB depends on project in both organisation.

like

Even in TCS, if u r put into another project, everything ll be question mark?

Put down ur papers and join Infosys…

Although job security is 10/10 in tcs, but internal growth is next to nothing. Choose whats imp - salary or job security.

like

Move to Infosys.. Job security is not an issue here.

like

U can easily move to Infosys. Nothing to worry about Job security and all, both TCS and Infy provides good job security and there will not be much difference between the 2 companies.

like

Easily move to infosys
Both are service based giants, you will not face a work security problem there.
WLB, as you already know, depends on the project.
Internal growth in TCS is close to nothing. So do move out!
All the best!

like

Pls consider switching to Infosys, not much difference between both and at the same time search for more opportunities as the offer you have is still low as per your YOE…

like

Infosys is also not bad they have also has many project with them and growth of infosys is better than tcs

TCS is among the best recruiter but Infosys is again a good option. Go for it I am sure you won't regret

like

Tcs will try to retain too, so if you get a good deal, then you can stay as well. Good luck.

like

HR said straight away that they can't offer the package I'm offered at Infosys. So, no regrets

Leave it man move to infosys am surprised y r u waiting to resign infosys leave behind tcs in coming days mark my word

like

Go and join Infosys
Because when you compare wlb and job security
Infosys and tcs are same nowdays

like

Try for more counter offers, Infosys is also a good option

like

Hello Can I show counter offer to infosys and ask them to revise my offer letter(I already accepted my offer at infosys)?

I have worked both infy & TCS there is not much difference in terms of work culture, security etc. All depends on project through. Only thing you may need to consider is in-hand salary of Infosys is very very less with 15% bonus n high basic.

like

Let's take example in Infosys your salary is increased by 100k. Then you have 15% qva, 50% so 12+12+4.81= 28.81% of 50k will go into pf+gratuity which is around 15. So actually you are getting 70k in hand before tax. Now in TCS your basic is around 25% and variable around 8-10% so pf+gratuity will be 7.5+ variable of say 8.5 so in hand before tax 100-16 =84k now you can the difference of in hand.
I used to get 98k in hand at Infosys post tax with 18lac package whereas I used to get 81k in TCS with 12.5 package.

Thank you all for your suggestions
