Go to Stanford or Harvard. It’s worth it
It’s also important to take into account what stage you are at in your career and what kind of opportunities or connections you could be strengthening by staying in the workforce (the promotions you could get etc.). I’m not saying you shouldn’t take the opportunity to go to Stanford or Harvard if you got in, more of just offering another perspective - There’s a reason executive MBA programs exist, in some cases it’s not worth taking the time off to miss out on salary, miss out on professional on the job growth and learning, and probably take on student debt. If you’re a few years out of college these opportunity costs won’t be as big a deal vs if you’re a more seasoned professional in your late 20s early 30s. Most executive programs require you to have a certain number of years work experience but they’re expedited and most companies will sponsor a portion or all of your degree if you agree to sign on for a certain number of years afterwards.
I’d say depending on age and how burnt out you are, use it as a break / for fun. Be careful though, you only get to do it once.
