Currently spiraling with panic attacks and constant anxiety. I billed over 300 hours last month, have worked every day for over 3 months, and every time I reach out to staffers I’m overwhelmed, I get a generic “it’s okay, you’ve got this!” I can’t even spend 10 minutes with my two young kids. Entering second year and could probably avoid working with these people once these deals are done. Is there any hope for me? How do I set boundaries? Should I, or can I, escape to in-house at this point?

Hi fishes,

I am offered 12.3LPA for 7A role (business transformation consultant- supply chain domain) from IBM? Is it a good offer for this band?
I am currently a business analyst with Genpact and is this 7A role a senior level? Or it will be an IC role same as my current company?

Also what's the annual hikes and performance bonus in IBM?

Can anyone speak to culture of the EC/VC and M&A groups at WSGR? Looking at remote positions. Thanks!

Hi Sharks,

I already have offer from EPAM systems, IBM, and CTS.

CTS is offering me 14 LPA fixed and EPAM is ready to pay 16 LPA fixed. Now In my salary discussion call with pwc india they are matching my offer from CTS i. e 14 lpa. They are saying they are from big 4 and have brand image. I ask for at least 15.5 lpa and told her if they can not afford that they can drop my candidature.

What's your views on this? Am I right here and which company will you go in this case?

I just hit my lean fire number but am hesitating to pull the trigger, so was hoping to run it by people smarter than me:

- I have a few rentals that bring in ~$1800/mo cash flow, taxes are negligible, Capex incl.
- My paper assets will bring in ~$1200/mo at 3% draw
- I get free Healthcare at the VA
- No plans on kids
- My expenses haven't topped $30k/yr ever
- I could always reenter the workforce if needed (albeit probably not in consulting)

Please point out the flaws here, what am I missing?

I am 37 and just started aggressively saving 4 years ago (beyond maxing my 401k). I have around $500k in retirement accounts and $350k in savings and investment accounts. About $200k in equity in my house (half paid off). Beyond maxing my 401k I have 6k/month I save/invest. Ideally want to retire in 8 years (45). What are good options to do with the 6k/month? Right now I just blindly buy mutual funds.
