I'm doing the EJ "Day in the life" soon. I'm very excited about this new journey. I've been in a completely different industry for a long time. Are there any EJ FAs on here thar care to give some guidance on this exercise?

Rule 1: don’t talk about Day in the Life.

Just kidding! I found this to be a fun experience. Plan for some prep work when the materials get released. Make a plan and stick to it. The previous comment about staying organized is solid advice.

Looking forward to welcoming you as a colleague! It’s an amazing company and the best thing I ever did for myself and my family.

It’s easy. Just stay organized throughout it.

Remember the primary focus is to contact prospective clients. This evaluation is about your ability to prioritize. As things come up during the exercise, you’ll want to ask whether it really has to be done now or whether it can wait until later in the day (when the evaluation is over). Look at the materials the firm sends you, but don’t think you have to be an expert.
I enjoyed the activity - I hope you do, too.
Good luck!

So I get that in a corporate set up, you are supposed to be sharp and witty and think on your feet. Trouble is, I am extremely slow with comebacks. (Think Ross in Friends/Amy in B99) at the crunch moment, I generally end up not being able to give a good roast back. Unfortunately the best of them come to me like a few hours later (dinner/shower/TV) and I am left ruing and amazing opportunity to have gotten one back. I am awful at jibes and roasts.

Anyone else suffer from this?
