I would look into becoming mortgage officer instead of real estate agent. More money plus you can do your job remotely. Being an real estate agent is tough as you have to work other peoples schedule. Just my birds eye view..
Residential RE might get tough over the next 2-3 years imo. There will always be work but it will not stay as hot as it’s been lately.
I love lending personally. Less risk, higher potential comp, and you’re still highly engaged in the RE community. Also better resources and education for analyzing deals.

I kinda feel like going into real estate as a main career in 2022 is like going to journalism in 1995.
