I’m done with being in public accounting. I want to transition to a career as a real estate agent since I love real estate and it highlights my personality more than anything I’ve seen, I’m very extroverted. I know the beginning is awful financially. Do you think it could make sense to RE full time and when tax season rolls around just do some 1099 work to supplement income if I have to? I have a wife and little kids

I would look into becoming mortgage officer instead of real estate agent. More money plus you can do your job remotely. Being an real estate agent is tough as you have to work other peoples schedule. Just my birds eye view..

Residential RE might get tough over the next 2-3 years imo. There will always be work but it will not stay as hot as it’s been lately.

I love lending personally. Less risk, higher potential comp, and you’re still highly engaged in the RE community. Also better resources and education for analyzing deals.

I kinda feel like going into real estate as a main career in 2022 is like going to journalism in 1995.

Give me a little more insight. I’m looking for feedback here. And if you have another suggestion I’m open. I feel like I’m being squashed in public accounting with essentially zero real human connections. There’s nothing to drive me to succeed honestly

Do you do tax at PwC? If you can stomach it you should do tax prep or bookkeeping for these clients,

Yeah I do tax at PwC. So your Rec is to do tax/books in house essentially?

Try Redfin - get paid a salary

Hello Everyone - My wife and I are expecting our first. I've looked through a lot of posts here and revies online. Uppababy Vista gets pretty favorable reviews and my wife and I both liked it when we check it at a store this past weekend. A bit big for traveling, so thinking about getting the Minu as well. Anyone who has had firsthand experience with the Vista and Minu pairing, would love to hear your feedback and if you'd go with something different?

Hi everyone, I made this bowl to have an open discussion about ageism, share stories and see where we can make a change. That said, what did you expect when you joined this bowl? I’m 24 and just coming in to the industry, so the more I know the better an ally I can be.

I currently working as project coordinator (on-site) for 3 months 10hrs everyday with package $75k, I want to move to remote or hybrid work but I only have 8 months of experience from my previous employer and I have completed my master's in construction management in 2021. Should I stay in my role a bit longer to gain experience or I am not able to find remote or hybrid matching my profile. Your advice and comments are much appreciated.
