I'm extremely concerned about the risk of spreading COVID during protests. I haven't seen many

From what I've seen, cases will definitely be going up in a few weeks from these.

We’re considering adding wearables tracking to pull in health metrics for a wellness app. Let’s say we plan on doing iOS only and one approach is only doing apple health integration, while another is to use a 3rd party aggregator like Validic or Humanapi to integrate once and get access to Fitbit, Oura, WearOS, and tons of other wearables. Which route would you suggest?

Can someone explain how it possibly makes sense to buy, purely from a financial perspective, in sf right now? I want to, but a 2b mortgage seems like it’s ~$5k in the areas I’m interested in whereas rent for a comparable unit is $2.9-3.5k/month. Have never lived here before so not sure if this is normal or not? Is the covid rental discount that extreme and prices are usually closer to the monthly mortgage amount?

TLDR: Getting over your ex of 2.5 years ghosting you after they said they wanted to reconnect.

I was dating someone for about 2.5 years and then we broke up because of COVID and the long distance was making it too difficult to continue. The break up must’ve been like a 4-5 minute FaceTime because I was very distraught. After we broke up, she started seeing someone else but I was heartbroken and it’s taken me over a year to really get over everything and process those feelings. (Cont.)

Hi everyone, I'm new to the bowl and would like to see if anyone is available to critic my resume. I have 6 years of work experience; 2 years are in Business Development and 4 years in Customer Service.

I am currently unemployed due to Covid-19 and been trying to get a job in Singapore. I want to refocus on my career in Business Development/Marketing and develop from there on.

Appreciate the help.

Would really love to help my lovely sister in law find a job in NYC or CT. She is a certified nutritionist, celebrity personal chef (her current job in Aspen but she is moving to Westport in January) and an all-around terrific, dedicated, hardworking person. She gets down around the holidays because she's single and doesn't have kids, but is an amazing aunt to our kids. Does anyone have any leads in the health/ wellness space? Im in biglaw and this is out of my depth a bit. TIA, Happy Holidays!

Has anyone else had a really hard time online dating with Covid? I’m aware things are getting better but I prefer to do outdoor first dates to be on the safe side. No judgement to anyone that does differently. It’s just what I feel comfortable with. I’ve had a few guys tell me they won’t do outdoor dates for some reason… some have cited weather but others legit say no (in 70 weather) because it’s a hassle & “Covid is a joke.” Please tell me if this is normal.

I started dating this guy some months before covid struck.. he was literally crazy about me. He even stayed in Hyderabad for months just so that we could meet once before he went on to stay with his family. After that it had been a real roller coaster. He pampered me a lot before and now he hardly talks. We both have switched to different companies (earlier were in the same) and now he works 6 days a week. Sleeps or Vists his relatives or works on Sundays. Sometimes I feel he no longer loves me.

Just got promoted to audit senior, but can’t imagine doing another busy season. I have some forensics internship experience from college and always wanted to pivot to forensics. It sounds like the firm is working mostly on COVID stuff these days, but I’m more interested in doing investigations work. If I transfer and have no choice but to work on insurance/claims, would it be better to stay in auditing? Is the insurance/claims work demanding/difficult intellectually wise?

This may be an unpopular opinion.

But I think it's kinda shitty that when FAANG people get laid off, everyone feels bad for them and they get so many resources to get rehired, but the same is not true for people that get laid off at smaller lesser known organizations.

Like those FAANG people will be fine, they got generous severance packages. The people who actually need help often get overlooked or are forgotten.
