I found myself doing this during early quarantine. I discovered that having something I consider a treat instead of alcohol helped me cut back. I would drink fancy seltzer water, but you could try a mock tail or even a piece of fancy chocolate.

Our district is so lax on the students this year. With tech issues and distance learning days, we’ve gone from accommodating to enabling real quick. No penalties for late work, taking excuses for attendance, lower academic and behavioral standards... We create targets for ourselves, then race to chase them down. Be it for a better career, money or a much higher standard of living. But I guess our youth pays a price for it. Not sure if this us just me or does anyone else resonates with this. For everything that I wanted to have and do have now, I feel just very hollow.

Question for parent 🐠s. What are the pro and cons of having 2 or more kids. Wife and I are exhausted with our 18 month old (who we both love more than anything in this world!). While we do miss the initial 6-9 months phase of parenthood, don’t know if we can do this again. Also, with us being 35-36, we have to decide if we want to have another kid soon.

I think my brother is an idiot when it comes to his dating life. He recently started dating someone that the whole family loves - really down to earth, great personality, educated, hot and has a career. I'm 11kg overweight for my height with a BMI of around 28.5. I'm hiking, walking up various peaks and ensuring that I get my heart racing the past 3 days. In some muddy/slippery places, I put weight on my left leg to prevent a 60 ft drop, knee took a lot of impact. Pity that attempting to be more active also leads to injury.

What do you recommend, a diet using the calorie deficit method? Looking to go back to gym, hit the heavy bag & lift weights from Monday.

I’m so lonely I forgot what feeling wanted feels like. It’s almost as if I’m numb to the human need of feeling desired and I’ve accepted my fate of solitude. I’m not sad about this, that’s what makes it numb. Life feels bland but not terrible. I have no expectations of anyone to ever want me nor am I resentful that I am alone. Is this normal?
