Happens a lot but be cautious of two things. 1 - if you are different levels, this can be challenging in best of circumstances. Especially if you are in the same office or space. 2 - how will you feel if things do not go well? You may have to work with the person (or at least see him/her.
This happens not infrequently
3/10 comfort level with the practice, but I was married when I rejoined the firm. Still am.
When I was at the firm 10 years before that, as a single (albeit much younger) woman, my comfort level was more like 5/10.
Totally fine with it. My boyfriend works for my company and we’ve been dating 2 years. As long as it’s not your manager and you don’t report to that person, it’s fine.
