I am on the first time H1B was laid off on 8th Sept and I signed an offer letter for a new company on 8th Sept itself. Now the new company needs to file for my H1B transfer.
Do I need to provide an experience letter and employment verification letter from my previous company for H1B transfer?

My GC Perm Wage determination was filed on May 12 by PwC lawyer. I have not heard anything back yet.

What should you do if you are on H1B and you lose your passport in a different country while on vacation? Contact your home country's consulate there? Then get a passport through their application, and apply for a new H1B interview slot? Assuming you have copies of the required docs and your company is willing to provide a new I797A and let you work from anywhere, of course...
