I'm raising some pre-seed money to fund a patent application. The entire business is based on the ability to get this patent.

Saying that, I'm trying to learn about how raising money pertains to stock price. I've been learning about how to value the company based on 20x for investors, but I'm stuck at the difference between pre-seed, seed, to Series A.

Does pre-seed get bought out by seed or Series A?

Does pre-seed expect a 20x to seed and then seed 20x to Series A? Or...
