Sounds like everything went to shambles, but it might simply be a matter of holding out and being patient for a while. Definitely sounds like your credentials and leadership skills are worthy of a VP title.
Sadly, this is all taboo but we all know there always has and always will be politics in these work places. And if your company had 6 directors of HR, well then I can only imagine the politics were abundant.
Ooooof, that's tough. Sounds like you were primarily a victim of bad timing. Is there opportunity for growth where you are currently? If not, then it may be time to move on again. If so, then I'd suggest continuing to work hard, just as you did at your last position, and being patient. I know it's hard, but it'll be worth it in the long run. And, of course, let your goals be known to the higher-ups so they keep you in mind for promotions. Good luck!
What a tough situation you got right there. That's definitely out of your control. I'd suggest you compile all your accomplishments and other docs. Best of luck, OP!
