Why do I feel so guilty that I have to call out all week because while getting groceries out of my SUV yesterday I fell backwards and awkwardly on my ankle and then landed on rocks. Ended up in the ER with a “significant ankle sprain”. I shouldn’t feel this way, but I do. Anyone else feel like this when you have to call out?

Our district in Texas (Houston area) has had F2F - with remote as alternative - since August!!! Masks required, but no social distancing in classrooms (can’t with 28 or more). Thoughts?

Salary for assistant principal with 12 years experience as teacher

I have COVID and have not been back to school since Christmas break. My district does not require a negative test to return, just 5 days of quarantine. However, I am a special Ed teacher and work with medically fragile kiddos. As a parent I would not want my child’s teacher to return to school knowing they could infect someone…does this seem right???
