I know it’s not a big deal but I’m so happy to have gotten some kind of bonus this year. Billed 1900 hours, got a $6k bonus ($3700 after taxes). Biggest bonus I’ve ever gotten in 8 years of practice. Job search has been rough so it’s nice to put a W on the board for once. Finally can fix the power steering and put new tires on the project car 😂😂 happy Friday everyone.

Current - EY staff 2 in tech, 75K in HCOL (not NY/SF). EY just promised PBB for staff, bigger raises, but that won't be until October.

Offer - Sr. role, 100K all in, would have to move to a MCOL, room for growth.

Wouldn't say this is my dream job, but aligns with what I'm good at, and I have been charging 50-60 every week at EY, so not eager to stay. Worth it to leave now or should I wait until after promo?

Started a new job back in January. Creative Director, a team of 7. Went back & fourth in negotiating. Offered 110k. Asked for 120k, settled on 115k. I even threw in that I was taking a hit with benefits, needing to pay 5k more as compared to my position I was leaving. That’s how I got it to 115k. At my annual I plan to address again, in partnership with the impact this position will have made this past year. What do other creative directors earn, if you don’t mind sharing?
