I’ve dealt with ADHD my entire life, although was just diagnosed last year. Throughout my career (assurance>industry>consulting), I’ve been able to “outwork” everyone else in the office to counter the lack of focus and other associated faux pas associated with the disorder. Recently have hot a point where I can’t put in the hours (3 yo/fam), and my work has taken a major hit. Anyone in consulting/assurance have any methods for managing this when it comes to PM duties?

I lost a baby at full term pregnancy (no genetic cause) and we are ready to plan for a second one. I am wanting to go through IVF because the genetic testing would rule out any bad surprises that could come later and also my husband and me are carriers for AMD. I am lost where to even start from. Would I need a referral for IVF? Will I be paying all the cost? My husband’s company has a plan but I don’t know if we would need to qualify?

At what point do you decide to switch labs when IVF isn’t working. I’ve had one cycle so far, and 2 FETs with an AA and AB embryos (both genetically tested), and no luck yet. No underlying infertility issues (doing IVF for genetic reasons) so I’m kind of confused as to why I’m not having success. I have one AB embryo left and if that doesn’t work I don’t know if I should stick with the same RE/lab or go somewhere else? Like how do you know if it’s you or them that’s the problem?

Has anyone needed to be on blood thinners during their treatment? Found out I have Factor V Leiden from the genetic testing/bloodwork I did and the clinic referred me to a hematologist. He said I would need to use heparin throughout the process and for a month after egg retrieval while the estrogen levels come down. Just wondering how common that is & any thoughts/advice appreciated! (Also wondering if the heparin costs would be covered by insurance if the rest is out of pocket)

My husband and I were set to start trying when I ovulate in a couple weeks. I didn’t get my period and a few days late (and I haven’t been late in months). I have PCOS so once I got my period back it has been consistent. So I took a test and is positive. I called my doctor, went in for a blood test and said was negative. I don’t understand what is going on. I don’t see how not pregnant, unless my pcos is flaring up again so either way just upset :/

Hi. I have very low AMH, 36 years old & never have been pregnant. I have done 2 IVF cycles this year approx 5 months apart. Each time had only 2 eggs retrieved, 1 fertilization each which lead to the embryo reaching blastocyst stages both times & both came back normal after genetic testing 🤍 talk about beating the statistics odds! 🤞🏻 I now have 2 cutie embryos saved. Starting our IVF journey after months of tests, procedures, and failed medicated IUI cycles. Wondering if anyone else opted to pass on egg genetic testing? My doctor says it’s really up to me but may not be necessary. For context, I’m under 30 and have PCOS. This is totally new to me and trying to figure out if the extra $6K is worth it given we have had maternal and paternal genetic testing and still under 30.

Our first miscarriage at 6 weeks and we are overwhelmed by grief. I don’t know how we’re to go through each day now, knowing we have lost our little one. I’m not sure how we’re supposed to try again. There is no way I can go through this loss a second time. I’m not as strong as you all on this channel, you keep trying. I’m in awe.
