I’m going into my senior year of school at GMU. I really want to go into market research analyst or the social media field and wondering what are good first jobs to get my foot in the door.

I want to switch from the Development side of work to the Consulting/Analyst side of work.

I have 2 YoE, my tech stack includes Java, Spring, SQL.

Any tips on switching up practice areas as a young attorney? I transitioned from a law clerk to an attorney at my current firm (insurance coverage) during the pandemic. What is the difference between an L6 & L7 role?

Dilemma… I left my old company 4 months ago. Today, they’ve reached out to me to ask me to come back at a higher role, Operations Manager. I would’ve jumped on this opportunity if they asked me before. However, this role would be hybrid (2x in office) and come along with more responsibilities and hours than my current WFH role which is very chill. The pay is only 15% more than I currently make. Would love some insight on how you went from an HR assistant/coordinator to an HR Generalist. I’ve been in the HR world for 8 years, and only in the last 2-3 have I really done real HR work. The first company I was at didn’t have a solid HR team so I don’t really count that. I feel like I’m ready to take on more responsibility and learn more. And of course make more money.

I have looked into getting SHRM certification. But should I go back to school and get my masters in Hr?

3 YOE in M&A consulting. Interested in education consulting for high school and higher ed. No idea if this is a feasible path.
