There are tons of distraction while you are working on something and then you are supposed to be within the budgeted hours which are always low. There is so much non-chargeable stuff going on.

Long Island 5th grade teacher here. We have already had 3 meetings this week about closing for coronavirus. My students are frightened ... I just want this whole thing to be over already.

Why is that you see people rise in the profession of teaching who prosper to Principals. Is it What they Know? or Who they Know? with a Masters and with Honors my district has never even considered my Principalship even though I completed all the requirements. The rule: Principal recommendation- I will never see a Leadership role. This is due to my role as a Lead for the Union. Not Fair - Teachers for Teachers - turned bad for future roles.
