25M. I’m gonna spend 20k to get into the stock market for the first time ever. I’m way too late but better late than never. Also gonna save 10k in high yield savings for my 30k in student loans (in addition to monthly savings). Thoughts on this? Boeing, Live Nation, VOO, USO, Amazon, Square, Disney, Spotify, Walmart, and Lynas (rare earths)

i think i’m done with options for a while. a long while. while i was doing well recently intraday, my longer term short positions were getting blown out of the water. it’s exhausting watching them go to shit, and it’s also exhausting trading intraday. the whole thing is just exhausting. it’s hard to focus on anything else when you’re down.

Under contract for nearly 1.1M. Wife and I are at HHI $315k. Will go up in the future, $400k in 3 years and $500k possible in 5-7 years. I got offered by my financial advisor to enter a closed private equity fund that has the objective (not guarantee) to 2x the capital in 10 years. That would mean a consistent 7.2% p.a. though I won't be able to sell, which is not a problem.
