I accepted an offer for a contract role ($125k, one title up, 1 year) which is currently running background check on me and didn’t start my TN visa prep yet. I received another offer today for a full time role, verbal between 120-130k tbd, one title below). I’m expecting another one probably late next week. I’m thinking if I can accept them both and have them both prep my TN, whichever TN works for me, I just go with that. In the past, i had offer rescinded before they filed TN. Is this ok?

There's a consensus in NY that the random pay raises this year and the "we're bringing in an outside firm to assess your salaries against competitors" are actually ways in which companies covering their bases since NY is rolling out salary transparency in job listings. Basically if you're making say 80k and your boss lists the same position, you might find out you should be making 20k more.
