I am currently a Recruitment Supervisor for a health system of about 20,000 employees. I have about 100 reqs as a recruiter and oversee 6 direct reports. I am looking to transition into working for a Microsoft, Apple, Amazon, Meta, etc type of company. How would you best recommend I get myself in front of their recruitment team when these roles are receiving hundreds of applicants for each role? I doubt they look at everyone at that level. Microsoft Amazon Facebook (Meta) Apple

Is this a serious question — there is a huge difference. This is like asking if the accountant of the LA Lakers is the same as being a player on the team.
Fair but the analogy holds.
Go to Goldman Sachs. Looks better and good experience
I would agree. Learning finance specific tools will pay dividends down the road.
The BCG research analyst role seems like it’s part of ‘BST/support functions/knowledge team instead of the core consulting pathway . The BCG support functions/Knowledge team WLB is great and not expected to work long hours. The downside is that it’s not the consulting part so you ll always be considered second tier. Knowledge roles are what you make of it (you can either Network get staffed on cases and do well or sit back be lazy and do the minimal but there’s no up or out system). I have seen people in knowledge roles for 10-15 years they don’t move up or not but are content as BCG is one of the best places to work in terms of ppl , benefits, training, work/social events (all employees are treated at part whether it’s HR marketing or knowledge team) The only downside of the research/knowledge team is that changing to the main consulting track is very hard (requires support of partners , normal interview process) I.e there’s only a slight advantage vs applying externally . If you want to do consulting in the long term either take option 2 or take a core consulting role!
Thank you so much! I really appreciate the advice!!
