I’m looking to get into consulting or IB. However I have limited financial/consulting internship/work exp so I’m looking for tips or advice. Thanks!
Looking for a Junior AD role or internship. Open to anywhere in the country, just looking for my shot..
Any ADs need book pieces? I have some cool stuff that’s been approved by multiple Miami ad teachers and intern mentors, but the art direction could use some love.
That time HRC and Liz Warren invited the KPMG intern to a 3some and the KPMG intern replied,"but but but Bernie and Bill are my sugar daddies"
Asking on behalf of my cousin… did anyone get their results for JP Morgan internship yet?
How far along in the process is your agency's intern program for next year? Haven't started thinking about it yet? In the middle of working on it? Or is planning all done?
I’m about ready to quit advertising. I had an internship after college, and I thought I did well, but they didn’t seem to give any thought to keeping me full-time, and I’ve felt locked out ever since. Now I’ve just wasted two years of my life, and I don’t feel any closer to getting back in as I did when I walked out of the $70,000 party the agency threw on my last day. It just sucks because I couldn’t wait to come in to work every day, and I really believe in my ability to write and concept.
Can someone from each firm tell me how your Progression Roles are defined? For example with PwC we have Intern -> Associate-> Experienced Associate -> Senior Associate -> Manager -> Senior Manager -> Director -> Partner. Curious on how it is other firms.
Official firm hierarchy: 1) Finance/expense police 2) Partner 3) Intern 4) Director/Senior Manager 5) Manager 6) Associate 7) Senior Associate
I just got an offer to KPMG's Advisory Rotational program internship and was wondering how much they pay full time associates. Anyone got a clue?

I just got my first ever job offer as a freelancer and while I’m excited, I’m so nervous. I’ve never had an internship so all my experience has just been school work and clubs. Anyone have advice for starting off? I’m nervous that I won’t be good enough....
What made your internship special and why did you want to join your firm? Think, fun things or small touches that went a long way, too.
Does anyone know anybody who can refer me for any SUPPLY CHAIN related summer internships in the United States? I’m a fresher with 2 internship experiences and 1 year work ex in supply chain and management. Right now doing my Masters in Engineering Management, majoring in Supply Chain. It’d be great if I could connect with a few people and share my resume and it’d be even better if they could refer me for supply chain summer internship job. I’ve attached my resume here too just incase.
Tbf the internship paid more than welfare
A manager fucked up the intern review process and now this high Performing intern is not going to get an offer. What should be the repercussion for this bumbling manager?
(1/2) It’s been ~18 months since I finished my internship. The agency I was at offered to let the interns stay on at $10/hr until they could “find the budget” to hire is full time. I couldn’t afford

Hello! I'm currently at the beginning of my career and in a sales strategy and operations role in a big tech. Do you think switching to consulting would be a good idea? thinking about long term, I'd like to remain in the tech industry but I fear that I will be missing skills to grow
Hi all! I have interviews at BCG coming soon and I need to get up to speed on case interview preparation. I’ve never had MBB case interviews before and I’ve just started my preparation on crafting cases. I’m hearing quite a lot that it is important to practice with other people to have an optimal preparation and was wondering how true it was? I have nobody to practice with at the moment and I honestly don’t realise how crucial it is… any thoughts ?
Hi Tax Bowlers, I'm an experienced associate (2yrs) in a Big 4 Transfer Pricing division. I have reached a point in my career where I am considering taking up a professional certification. Several colleagues recommended taking up either ACCA or CFA, however, I see little connection between these certifications and the work that I am currently doing, and what I plan to do in the future. What would you guys suggest? Would it be detrimental to my career if I did not take up any certifications?
Is there generally a salary premium for people in M&A Tax compared to Core Tax, and is it substantial (10-20%+) at the Senior level or not until you get to manager and above?
Is KPMG Tax Ignition- Data Analyst the same as the rest of the big 4 tax tech. Do you guys do programming with Python, R, and SQL?
I’m working on a diversity and inclusion survey. Interest in workplace surveys can be low, but I’d love to see high engagement on this one as it will help us understand where we can improve...(cont)
What would you call independent consultants employed by the client to verify SOW adherence, identify risks to on-time delivery, and provide subject matter expertise? Client engagement manager?
Hi, I joined Deloitte USI on November 8. I believe that I will be eligible for hike for June 2022 (on pro-rated basis). Can you please suggest how to go about raising a snapshot? Is snapshot mandatory to be eligible for hike? I see that the final snapshot deadline is Dec 10, but my project is just getting started now. Not sure how can I take this up with my project manager, looks too early to ask for such things. Please suggest.
I’m a young data scientist with around 4 years of experience, and am wondering if taking on a paid role as a data science boot camp teaching assistant would be a good resume add, contracted with a reputable private university (technically can’t list as an employee of the university since it’s a subcontractor)

Serious question: how difficult is it to get straight up fired from big 4? Outside the layoffs last year, I have personally never seen anyone let go for any reason. There's always some PIP or transferring projects or some long review process that never goes anywhere. Anyone have any insight or stories? Just looking for some perspective.
