I’m having a bad experience at a mid-market firm (RSM/BDO/GT) and want to pivot into B4. I’ve been at my firm for ~6 months and received offers from B4 when recruiting on campus cont.

Best to go through a referral. Alternately, reach out to the recruiter and have a conversation. Be honest that your experience hasn't been fulfilling and that you would like to come over. Be humble and own the fact that you passed on them and are learning this the hard way. Shows you are willing to accept mistakes and learn (not that I mean it was one to the mid market companies). It is important to give that appearance at the very least. Big 4s always need people and if you were a fit once, you can be once more. Good luck!

Partners - could you provide some insight how much big 4 partners make? Whether you're in big 4 or not - pretty sure you'd have an idea. Maybe give some kind of a range of what new partners earn ? Just want to know if it's worth it getting to the top. Also would love to hear your opinion if years of slogging it upward is actually worth it. Do you feel partnership is everything you thought it would be ? (Prestige, money, status, etc)? Thanks in advance !

This week's tech mention is Piktochart. I came across these guys yesterday and I am stoked about it. If you look they help you build professional infographics. I like to use infographics as a leave-behind from my sales presentation. The flyers help my customers sell the solution up to management. The problem I have is I am not artistic. This service looks like it will allow me to take my ideas and put them in a format worth sharing. Go give them a look.
