This is so hard - I struggled with this a lot when I was unemployed and my SO was working. It didn't get better until I started volunteering and filling up my schedule with things I felt were worthwhile. This was obviously pre covid, though. I hope you're able to feel less needy again soon. If it is any consolation, I'm working full time and quarantine is making me feel more needy, too. Let me know if you get some good tips!

I have the Star alliance Gold status. I have international travel coming up through Turkish airlines. Can someone tell me how much excess baggage ( check in ) will I be allowed if I have Star alliance Gold status? I tried calling Turkish twice and both times I got different responses. Their website doesn’t really specify anything. Turkish’s Elite status is equivalent to Star alliance gold and allows 20kg additional/ 1 extra bag. Can someone please confirm? Thank you in advance!

Any insight from Deloitte folks on the announced layoffs? Has anyone from PwC or KPMG heard anything similar? EY has left the door open for layoffs, but hasn’t laid out specific plans yet. It feels inevitable though. While I don’t think I’m on the chopping block (famous last words), I do worry about the morale impact on my teams and the office in general. Curious to hear other perspectives.
