I’m having a horrible time sleeping lately. I used to have anxiety and wake up racing with it at 4am. CBD helped that. Now it does nothing for me. I lay awake, exhausted, *all night*. Doctor time?

I went through this...bad. It’s an in your head thing. Read “6 weeks to a good night sleep”. It’s all about cognitive behavioral therapy and it’s the only thing that truly works.


That sounds awful. Yes check with your doctor to try to figure out the cause. Also consider how much caffeine you might be consuming that might be contributing. I’ve learned that I can’t have any after 3pm or else I have trouble sleeping as well. Hope you start feeling better soon!


Sometimes I’m in this half awake/half sleep state. It’s horrific. I think it’s because 2 months ago I switched from the pill to an IUD. I’ve tried all the sleep practices, meditation, herbs... I even took a Unisom last night and i was up all night!!!

Another thing that’s helped me a ton is reading kindle in bed. Then I can just turn off the lights when I’m truly tired. Oh and one last bit of advice. Do not go to sleep until you are super tired.


just one thing. Do not take ambien. I was addicted for over a year and I hated life on it. Try meditation apps at night. And then “sleep with me” pod cast to bore you to sleep. Anxiety and constant thoughts kept me up. As well as hormonal changes after having a baby. Train your mind with a set routine. But no ambien ok? Promise?

Definitely see the doctor. But, in the meantime, try 3 mg of melatonin. Take it about an hour before you want to fall asleep. It’s been a lifesaver for me. I

I tried melatonin. Doesn’t work. And I’d rather not mess with my hormones anymore

Out of curiosity, how long did CBD help? I was thinking about trying a low dose. (Canadian here. Marijuana/CBD is becoming legal everywhere on Wednesday)

DDM1- I’ve been using it for awhile. Helps during the day too considering I have social anxiety in an open office. Try 250mg

disregard if annoying, but... regular exercise can help. at the very least it'll make me too tired to do the 3am panic routine.

Lol I promise. Thanks! I never wanted to take a sleep aid. I might need a low dose anti anxiety med for a temporary period of time though. I’m at the end of my rope here

Has anyone experienced blame shifting? In my romantic relationship we’re in sync 97% of the time but if I’ve constructive criticism, the dynamic flips, so I apologize to deescalate.
