Diversity is addressed at the pipeline and recruitment. Further, firms must do more to develop and retain the diverse talent they already do have. Inclusion begins at the tone of the top. Start and work from there.

There's not a whole lot you can do if your office demographics just don't skew towards being diverse? I guess you could encourage authenticity and making the office a safe place for any possibly queer folk who might not be out in the office, but you don't have any guarantees there
Does your team have a good mentorship program in place for diverse staff? It’s helpful to increase connectivity and help support with navigating career decisions.
I’m the only blacks person on my team. There’s also one Mexican and everyone else is white and straight. Hope that helps
