If they are strenuous workouts, it’s too much for your body and your aren’t giving it enough time to recover
Eat enough protein, will help with faster recovery.
Are you stretching enough both pre and post workout? Eating enough and drinking water regularly? If yes then maybe the workout is too intense for your body or maybe your body is adjusting to the new workout regime. Try doing a light cardio or yoga in between your 5 day workout and also take enough rest so that your muscles can recover.
Which Pilates workout are you doing?
BBFit. It’s Pilates inspired, mixed with HIT and some kickboxing moves. Depending on the day.

I was right there too and decided to do a mid-week day that’s either a long walk or yoga, to help with recovery. And try to get in an extra hour of sleep while adjusting

Sleep and recovery is very much overlooked. Very important. If it’s muscle soreness, it does get better. BCAAs can help there.
Muscle soreness is a result of your uncles repairing.
You don’t build muscles during workouts - you tear them down and apart. You build muscles through the recovery process - which is why sleep and rest are so important.
I agree^ SLEEP is so necessary I used to sleep at 2 and get up at 730 for work and that destroyed me, you really need to let your body recover properly if not I’ll carry over forever...take a rest day and don’t do anything
I workout about 5 sometimes 6 days a week. Work stress and schedule can definitely impact my ability to get the most out of my workouts though. If you’re looking to get a better sense for your strain, recovery & just some great stats to help with your fitness/health I highly recommend looking into a WHOOP.
I lift heavy 5 days a week with cardio and the biggest thing I see making a difference is sleep. When I'm not working out I only need about 5 hours of sleep a night to be at top form but when I'm working out consistently anything under 7 per night is noticable throughout the day and can cause aches and joint pain, especially if it's consistently less than 7 hours. I also eat a significant amount of cals focusing on hitting at least 230 g of protein per day but that stays consistent
